Our Special Education Department partners with students, families, teachers, and related service providers to ensure that each scholar receives the individualized supports and services needed to achieve academic, social, and personal success.
We are committed to providing specially designed instruction and accommodations that enable students with disabilities to reach their fullest potential while participating in the life of our school community.
LIFE Male STEAM Academy provides special education services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Child Find is a statewide effort to identify, locate, and evaluate children who may have disabilities and are in need of special education services.

LIFE Male STEAM Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving young men in grades 6–11, where students engage in a dynamic, future-focused education rooted in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. There is no cost to parents to enroll, as enrollment for Pennsylvania charter school students is covered by taxpayer dollars. Enrollment is now open for the 2026–27 school year, making this the perfect time for families to explore all that LIFE Male STEAM Academy has to offer.
