Sports at LIFE Male STEAM Academy are about growth, on the court and beyond. Our scholars develop leadership, teamwork, and discipline through structured athletic experiences.
Our athletic program currently features our LMSA KINGS basketball team. Our team competes in the PIAA – District VII WPIAL League and local basketball tournaments. We’re committed to expanding our athletics program to include new sports that reflect the interests and strengths of our scholars.
All scholars also participate in weekly gym classes and House Competitions at All-American Fieldhouse, building school spirit and healthy habits. Through our partnership with Steel City Squash, selected scholars receive access to squash training and participate in travel tournaments.

LIFE Male STEAM Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving young men in grades 6–11, where students engage in a dynamic, future-focused education rooted in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. There is no cost to parents to enroll, as enrollment for Pennsylvania charter school students is covered by taxpayer dollars. Enrollment is now open for the 2026–27 school year, making this the perfect time for families to explore all that LIFE Male STEAM Academy has to offer.
